On Wednesday, 02 January 2019, we got our first look at The Aadhaar and Other Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2018. On Friday, 04 January 2019, this Bill was passed by the Lok Sabha. We compared this Bill with the existing provisions under The Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 and the Supreme Court’s judgment in Justice K.S.
