Digital Defenders Fellowship 2020

SFLC.in endeavors to produce high quality research, policy recommendations, and analysis on a full range of technology policy issues with a deep commitment to solving many public policy challenges at the forefront of national and global conversations.

We invite academics, practitioners, economists, journalists and technologists to apply for our first Digital Defenders Fellowship Program. The aim of this Program is to recruit scholars whose diversity of experience will expand the range of perspectives within India's policy and scholarly community. We will rely extensively on the expertise of our Fellows to inform our core research and provide insight in events and publications about the topics they cover.

If you are a techie, please share your technical knowledge, or contribute code to some of our projects.

We are non-profit organisation dedicated to defending your digital rights. We promote innovation and  open access to knowledge by helping developers make great Free and Open Source Software, protect privacy and civil liberties for citizens in the  digital world by educating and providing free legal advice and help policy makers make informed and just decisions with the use and adoption of technology.

How will we utilize your sponsorship/donation funds?

All the funds will be utilised to improve our existing projects or launch new projects, and taking steps towards ensuring your digital freedoms.

Is SFLC.in a nonprofit organization? Will I get tax exemption if I donate?

Yes. You can avail tax exemption under Section 80G. We need your PAN details to give you a receipt.
