Sukarn Singh Maini procured his B.Sc. L.L.B. (Hons.) from Gujarat National Law University in 2013. He worked as a litigator for three years in the High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur. He has keenly followed the developments in FOSS since 2004. He joined SFLC.in in the year 2016. His work primarily revolves around protecting and promoting digital rights and digital freedoms by researching, advocating and litigating in the issues of Free and Open Source Software, Privacy and Data Protection, Digital Security, Encryption, Aadhaar, Internet shutdowns, Freedom of Speech and Expression, Creative Commons, Software Patents, Online Harassment, Network Neutrality and Intermediary Liability.
