A complaint was registered with the Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi Police, by BJP member Arun Jaitley alleging that a fake twitter profile had been created in his name. In his complaint Jaitley said "the said account has not been created by me and does not belong to me. It appears someone is impersonating me and has created a fake account in my name." A case under Section 66 of the IT Act which deals with hacking has been registered with the EOW.
